Last week our dear friends Elder Whitney and Kathy Clayton came to Africa.  We were able to take them to our favorite Italian restaurant Tortellini d'Oro.

I also flew up to Nairobi, Kenya this past week for some legal work. Heading into town I noticed this advertisement for "Political Risks & Terrorism Cover". Kenya has been having its problems lately.

Two of my good friends at the Church's Nairobi Service Center. Jadmaire and Hesbon.

Mom and I will walk through the Houghton neighborhood a couple of times a week. With summer nearly here, most of the trees have grown their leaves back.

The homes of Houghton look more stately.

But it's the jacaranda trees which are coming into bloom now. Purple isn't Mom's favorite color unless it's on a Jacaranda tree.

We have some of the best Institute students in the world. Here's Jessica

And Robert. They both have been baptized within the last 6 months.

There's no Halloween or Thanksgiving to get in the way of an early Christmas here in South Africa.

If you're wondering what to get me for Christmas? Here's a $25,000 silver leopard for sale.
