On September 24th, South Africa held its National Heritage Day. All the Church employees in the Area Office dressed up in their best tribal dresses.  In the center of this photograph is Sandi Taylor, head of Human Resources for the Church in the Africa Southeast Area.

There was lots of African food for all to eat.

No dress was the same.

Last Sunday my friend Eshley turned 12 and was ordained a Deacon in the Church. I was sitting on the front row and just had to take this picture as his father ordained him. It was just too wonderful.

Two young Sister missionaries visited OGC last week. They are Sister Gomez and Sister Bernardo.  Both are from Angola. They are the first sister missionaries from Angola. They will be serving in Mozambique.

A couple of more pictures from National Heritage Day.
